Dogwood Magnet

Description

This magnet design was created with a wood block carving that was pressed into clay, cut out and additionally hand painted with the base colors, making each magnet one of a kind and unique. After the bisque firing, the magnet was painted black, and then wiped off to inlay the black underglaze into the grooves. The magnet was then painted with clear glaze and fired again, then finished off with a powerful magnet on the back.
